Young Women’s Peace Leadership Camp
Explore ways of creating peace in your life, community and world at the Young Women’s Peace Leadership Camp. Meet women working for peace in many different ways and consider peacemaking careers and activism. Build confidence using nonviolent skills. Make friends and plan future activities in a beautiful Kootenay Lake setting.
What matters most is your curiosity about creating peaceful communities. Peace Camp includes 13 meals and 13 workshops, and inner peace self-care experiences such as yoga, meditation, journalling, dance, music, art, drama, building a network of support among participants and resource people.
For Young Women, 15-35 yrs. Session runs from August 24 – August 28.
This is an overnight camp with the option to return home for the night.
