Friday, February 14, 2025
Arrive at 2PM in preparation for the 2:30PM Activation Start Time.
Park Avenue Armory, Wade Thompson Drill Hall
643 Park Avenue, New York, NY 10065
Each participant will be given their own copy of Greta Thunberg’s The Climate Book to read aloud at the event and take home. The collective will disperse among Yoko Ono's Wish Trees and read 3 essays in unison:
‘To solve this problem we need to understand it’ by Greta Thunberg
‘The Deep History of Carbon Dioxide’ by Peter Brannen
‘Changing Our Diets’ by Gidon Eshel
Running time will be approximately 30 minutes, so participants can expect to finish at about 3PM. If you need a chair for accessibility, please note so in your RSVP. Stay for clementines and conversation if you would like and, of course, to tie wishes to Ono’s Wish Trees!
Please RSVP to info@wovenow.org, noting which date(s) you will attend, your first and last name, and anyone who will be joining you.
“The most effective way to get out of this mess is to educate ourselves.”

If you would like to experience the read-ins without participating, you may visit Yoko Ono's installation at the above times. The Armory does not charge admission, but requires a timed entry RSVP here. There will be a ticketed Symposium celebrating Yoko Ono on Saturday and Sunday, February 15-16. More info here.
